I took the 2 hour train ride from Paris to London today. London is completely underrated IMHO (dad, that means "in my humble opinion").
As soon as I arrived I headed over to the Apollo Victoria Theatre where Wicked is playing because I heard they sometimes have same day tickets available. To my absolute delight (said in a British accent obviously) they had a single front row center ticket available for £29. Finally my lonely travels have paid off! The happy couple after me paid £60 for seats wasaay in the back.
Next I checked into my hotel and I was off to The Cambridge Satchel Company. I've been waiting 3 years to get one of these bags. They only have 3 stores (1 in London, 2 in Cambridge). I walked in and it was love at first sight.
I don't know why I look so sad in this picture. I blame Parisians who have mastered the bored-sad face. Anyhoo... after picking out my new rose gold mini satchel I was on my way. Next stop, Liberty of London by way of Picadilly Circus...
This heavenly store deserves an entire blog post of it's own. All I will say for now is if I die (and that's a big if), scatter my ashes on floor 3 of Liberty. I will be eternally happy...
After about 3 hours in Liberty I was emotionally exhausted and starving. Time for fish and chips!
Wow. Not the best, which is why I was compelled to pick up some Jelly Babies after the show.
For those of you unfamiliar with Jelly Babies... they are simply the best gummy candy you will ever sink your teeth into. They are mysteriously illegal in the U.S? For reasons I prefer not to know.
Oh and I think it goes without saying that Wicked was pretty much amazing.
Cherryo!
