Portobello Road

I realllly love markets. Whether it be flea or farmer, they are my jam.

Every Saturday Portobello Road in Notting Hill transforms into a giant outdoor market with over 2,000 vendors.

This market is everything you want it to be.

Not so secret gardens...

Grumpy old British men "not selling tourist crap."

Cute British looking stuff.

Quirky musicians.

Flowers. So many flowers.

Hipsters hanging out of windows.

And of course your basic mulled wine from a cart.

My first purchase was a strawberry donut from an adorable British woman.

I devoured it. Next stop was "The Cloth Shop" which has great fabric at only £7/meter. Having come from Liberty which is £22/meter, this was a steal!

Next I bought a hat. You can't come to London and not buy a hat right? She even adjusted the size for me on the spot.

After a few hours of wandering it was time for lunch. Tough choices were made between the paella and Ghanaian food but I landed on Ghana.

Looking at these pics I'm realizing I should have got both!

It was only after I finished lunch that I discovered I had sugar from my donut alllllll over my face. Amazing. I talked to probably 20 people like this.
